Two bodies, one body.

The EGO show is a piece of contemporary dance that seeks to give the viewer a perspective from which to value and understand the world, trying to remove the public's conscience. It is danced to tell a story capable of influencing the collective subconscious. The piece deals with issues around how individuals live in society. From the need that we beings have to stand out and feel important and protagonists, thus letting us see everything that surrounds us. It is a criticism of the selfishness of today's society. How we go through life without really looking beyond our navel. How we walk without observing everything around us. How we follow the "masses", and how we move and organize among them. How we fight against ourselves and against others to find the place in the society we want. Try to see how we change our way of being and make ourselves visible to others to feel integrated into a society in which we believe that the problems of others are not ours. How and how much do we believe in solidarity? Based on this reflection, the piece initially shows the most individual being, the one who sees only his own SELF and is capable of going over others to be seen. Over the course of the show, it evolves towards a being that opens its gaze, beginning to move in society, in a collaborative and cooperative way, thus idealizing a better society.
As the piece progresses, it makes visible an evolution from the most individual being to its own being that becomes part of the collective itself.
